Thank you for stopping by!

Thank you is what we all try to teach our kids to say in appreciation of something. It still does not come naturally to many people because humans are hard to please.

We get hurt when we don't get a thank you for something we did. We sometimes just need to be appreciated as an encouragement to keep up with the good work. Others, become enslaved to people because of what was done to them. People need us to return a favor that was done.

We become yoked to each other because thank you is not enough anymore.

I'm not saying you should not help a neighbor if you can. What I'm saying is, do not expect anything in return.

What I've learned over the years is you can't please humans. "Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ." (Galatians 1:10 NIV)

No matter how hard you try someone will complain. Someone people will just never say thank you.

Get over trying to please people, and start doing the things that are pleasing to God. "May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer." (Psalm 19:14 NIV)

Yet, give Him the glory for everything you do.

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20, 21 NIV)

At the end you will get well done from your Heavenly Father our master just like the servant in this parable. “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ (Matthew 25:21 NIV)
