My heart is overflowing with a good theme; my tongue is a pen of a ready writer! Today I choose joy over sadness! I choose blessing over curses, hurt, past pain and betrayal! I choose to stand on the promises of God rather than what society tries to throw at me. I choose to look at myself the way God sees me rather than through the lens of critics stock in my past; critics who think they know a lot about me but really are stock in their own brokenness that need invasive heart surgery by the word of God. The old me(my past)is dead and buried and this lady you see today has been made New in Christ. I have been redeemed, restored and the righteouness of God in Christ. How can one afford to have children anymore in this economy?

  Hello August! It seems like the months went by very fast. At least now that I have offloaded 😊. It has been quite an adjustment receiving this blessing. I did not look forward to having a c-section for the fourth time. I’m thankful the doctor made it look easy. I had to do some pep talk through it all. With my previous baby, I had a lot of bleeding that a code was called on me. The plan was to take out my uterus to stop the bleeding. The same doctor told the team she got this. She handled the situation so well coupled with my husband standing next to me speaking God’s Life-giving words.  You can tell from my last experience I did not look forward to this. I know some of you may be asking that if you went through this, then why are you having another baby right?  Oh well, my heart was not satisfied yet lol!   Hello there, It’s been a while!   How are you doing? I pray this finds you in good health and a happy state of mind. If not, cast all your cares to Jesus, he wants you to do life with him. It’s been a while since I wrote on this blog. A lot has happened since the last time we communicated. We all went through the pandemic. What a crazy season that was. I was talking to my husband the other day and truly felt God gave us a jubilee year(a year of rest), to restate and refocus. What the enemy meant for evil God turned it for good. I know many of us lost loved ones which is very disheartening. May the memories with them always bring us joy when we think of them. They are gone but never forgotten. Behind The Scene Story(God is not a murderer)

The outside picture never really portrays the entire story. It can surely paint an eye catching picture. What we see physically may be deceiving and hides the joy/pain going on in the inside. Looks can be very deceiving and never should you draw conclusions about the inside by what you see. Wait until they open their mouth then, will you know the condition of their heart. Out of the heart flows the issues of life. When we look at Instagram today, we see beautiful pictures of the current outside state of people. What most people don't think about, is what is really happening in the inside. What is going on behind the scenes of the lives of people taking these pictures?   Your inside story is different and unique to you. Your inside story can bring healing to another. The Moment We Almost Called it Quit !!

Someone told me the other day that we are a good looking couple. Another said, there is something about us when we walk into a room. Words!!!!! Little did they know these statements will take me back to about six years down memory lane; when our walls almost came crumbling down. (we have to be intentional about making our home secure and free of strife. Children watch our actions. They become who they see. Strongholds at home start building walls in kids that will affect their relationships in the future). I remember very well this  Sunday morning in the spring of 2010 in South Bend, Indiana. It was finally getting warm and nice outside and the winter coats were finally off. Sunday mornings are usually hectic if you have little kids. Everyone has a story of how they met their Prince Charming. Yours maybe be more exciting than others. Or maybe, more awkward than others. Well, let me give you a chance to make the judgment in my situation. January 2007 was when it all started in South Bend Indiana. For those of you who don't know, January is the coldest, snowiest month of the year with icy roads. As the weather forecaster always says, "if you have no reason to be outside, stay indoors." For several years, I made it a habit to journal  important events in my life .
