How can one afford to have children anymore in this economy?

Hello August!

It seems like the months went by very fast. At least now that I have offloaded 😊. It has been quite an adjustment receiving this blessing. I did not look forward to having a c-section for the fourth time. I’m thankful the doctor made it look easy. I had to do some pep talk through it all. With my previous baby, I had a lot of bleeding that a code was called on me. The plan was to take out my uterus to stop the bleeding. The same doctor told the team she got this. She handled the situation so well coupled with my husband standing next to me speaking God’s Life-giving words.

You can tell from my last experience I did not look forward to this. I know some of you may be asking that if you went through this, then why are you having another baby right?  Oh well, my heart was not satisfied yet lol! I knew deep down that I had more babies to be born. God’s word says it clearly that he will satisfy us with good things and grant us the desires of our hearts. If He says it then, he will do it. He is able to perform that which he promised.

I’m thankful things went well this time around. Often, one bad experience can stop us from receiving from God. It takes renewing our minds and changing our saying to bypass a bad experience.

Are you letting a previous bad experience stop you from receiving all that God has in store for you? God’s word tells us clearly to root out the bad experience and replace them with his promises.

“See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.””

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

(Dress by Anarise)! Thank you Ya'ah-Yefon for dressing me up.

To add to all this, one of the many reasons why most people are afraid to have babies or more babies is the cost of raising them. You will often hear couples/parents complain about the cost of daycare, diapers, formula, etc. When we had our first baby 14 years ago a box of diapers was twenty-nine dollars. Fast forward 14 years later and we are now paying almost fifty dollars for the same box that has fewer diapers in them.

Have you tried paying for after-school activities? Lord! No 9-5 job can afford this lifestyle right! Grandparents have to get involved if they want to watch their grandchildren in recitals. How can one even afford to have children anymore right 🤣. How did you survive the summer months with school-age children always in the pantry and opening the refrigerator looking for something to eat. How much did your last grocery cost you? Did you notice the increase in prices? Inflation is not kind to your wallet at all. This is the reason parents have to think out of the box of the regular 9-5 jobs. Learning about multiple income streams is a priority.

Finding one that works is a job in itself without spending a fortune to start a new business. One of the many things I do as a mother is looking for other revenue streams to add value to our income. Also, as a Kingdom daughter, I desire to give without limits to ministries that share the gospel. Creating a Kingdom culture and lifestyle for my family is my desire.

This is the reason I started “Abundanze Digital”. Go like my new page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/EtondeSiri where I’ll be more active there inspiring, educating, and entertaining you all.
