The Woman That Prays Fears The Lord!

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." (Proverbs 9:10 NIV)

Do you fear The Lord?  God wants us to have a personal relationship with him. It is through this relationship that we begin to understand the things of the way. When we fear God he gives us wisdom about life, and how to go about things that bring him honor.

" A loving fear relationship" unlike other humans that create fear and terror, that make us stay away from them, God is loving. He cares soo much about us and wants us to get to know him. We fear how mighty He is and the power He has over all of creation. Yet, he is so loving that he gave us a manual (The Bible) about life and how to live. We will never understand fully the mystery of God. Our faith gives us the peace we need in believing in Him.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." (James 1:5 NIV)

All the wisdom we need in life should come from God. Take your bible, spend time in the word, pray and ask God for wisdom. Go to him first when you have a problem and God will put people in your path to help you. The Holy Spirit will also direct and help you. "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, "(2 Timothy 3:16 NIV)

Someone told me lately they don't like the bible because of the things it says. Yes, the bible is very convicting because it is the truth. God's wisdom in the word is and will always be the absolute truth that does not change. Fear The Lord, seek to know his truth and it will set you free.

How I met Prince Charming!

Everyone has a story of how they met their Prince Charming. Yours maybe be more exciting than others. Or maybe, more awkward than others. Well, let me give you a chance to make the judgment in my situation. January 2007 was when it all started in South Bend Indiana. For those of you who don't know, January is the coldest, snowiest month of the year with icy roads. As the weather forecaster always says, "if you have no reason to be outside, stay indoors." A Mother's Bond

The connection we have with our children  is very powerful. The bond can not be broken. It is a love like no other. A love that speaks from the heart with a very powerful intuition. God made us carry them in our bodies for almost 10 months. This pregnancy process is a bonding mystery. Feeling the baby move and it can actually respond when you talk to them. I remember my babies giving me kicks of assurance when I asked if they are ok in there. What a magical feeling it is. The bonding continuous as we hear the first cry that pierces our hearts, nursing them, waking up at night and going through days with very limited sleep. Stirring at them to see if we'll see a body part actuall grow instantly. All the smiles and crying only builds up a stronger bond etc. We get soo attached to them that even leaving them home with our husbands is scary.
