How God Answered a Passion He Put in Me for 10 years. Part 2

From the pictures you can see that God will always be our provider (Jehovah Jireh) "And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19 NLT).

When God puts a passion our hearts, he provides all what is needed to accomplish his plans. The question is: Are we willing to obey our Savior?

It was such a blessing to be at this orphanage to deliver the toys on time before Christmas. I told the kids how I had been praying for them for years, long  before some of them were born.  I explained the story of how God answered my prayer and provided the toys for them.

The most important thing was not the toys but the gift of Christ at Christmas.  “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him." (John 3:16, 17 NLT).

Also, I explained to the children that God gave us his only son at Christmas as a gift for our salvation. "Who is this who comes from Edom, from the city of Bozrah, with his clothing stained red? Who is this in royal robes, marching in his great strength? “It is I, the lord, announcing your salvation! It is I, the lord, who has the power to save!” "(Isaiah 63:1 NLT). Although they may sometimes feel alone, God loves them and is with them always.

I reminded them that whenever they pick up a toy, they should think about Jesus and how he cares for them and loves little children. But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” (Matthew 19:14 NLT)

Just as I tell my children; "when ever they are afraid just think and say Jesus!" Yes! He is with us and there is power in the name of Jesus. "Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, (Philippians 2:9 NLT)"

What is more amazing about this passion is, not only was it an answer to my prayers but also an answer to prayer to the sponsors of the orphanage. Last year had been a very stuff year for them. Their Spanish sponsors were going through a crisis and could not provide Christmas gift to the kids year.

They prayed daily that God should bless the the kids with Christmas gift. On our side, we prayed that they should accept our gifts for God placed in our hearts to do this. When my husband and I walked into their office and told our story of how God had answered our prayer and provided the toys, they were in awe.

You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! (John 14:13, 14 NLT)

Isn't our God awesome!
