My Gratitude letter: Have you ever thought of what you are greatful for despite the storms and struggles of life?
Have you ever thought of what you are greatful for despite the storms and struggles of life?
I have always wanted to write a thank you letter to everyone at once. You would wonder why, but something in me just want to say thank you. This is what my heart wants to say.
Thank you God for the gift of life, for blessing me first with my parents and siblings. Now you have blessed me with a beautiful family of my own. Thank you that I was born in Cameroon and you have given me the opportunity to live in another country. Thank you lord for all the people you put along life's path in each season of my life. Thank you lord for the strength you give me each day to go through this life.
Thank you to my parents, for all that you have done for me and still doing. Thank you for bringing me up in a military style home. I hated it then, but now thankful for that up bringing.
Thank you for teaching me how to be content in life and not want what I can't afford. To be appreciative, and to learn to say thank you. Thank you for not giving up on me. "I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind."(Ecclesiastes 1:14 NIV)
Thank you Florence Haugen, for being such a kind big sister. Although we fought a lot and I did things you did not like, you always called me and had my back at all time. Thank you for always cleaning up my vomit when I was sick. Sorry that I was not available when I had to be there for you. Thank you for putting up with me and for all the late night calls you get when I'm stressed up.
Thank you to my other siblings, for being a part of my life. God knows why he put us as a family and I'm very thankful for all the support you give me.
Thank you grandma Njuamboh, for spoiling me with the love of a grand mother. For all the laughter we had throughout the years. I always look forward to meeting with you.
Thank you sister Patience for being a sister and mother to me. For all your advice and lots of laughter.
Thank you Ade Marcus, for all your help and encouraging words throughout the years. One of the things I appreciate most about you is, staying on the phone with me when I left work, making sure I got home safe when I was single. Thank you Marcus for being the big brother. Thank you to all my other cousins for being there for me.
Thank you to all my teachers throughout my years in school. For taking your time in pouring out knowledge and encouraging to study. May God bless you as you continue to bless others through such a difficult task.
Thank you to all my classmates, and the so many that stayed close friends with me. Thank you for putting up with my sometimes difficult self. Sorry if I ever hurt anyone of you.
Thank you to my high school friends for supporting me, and each other all the time through life's journey.
Thank you to my church members for being my family. Thank you for all the prayers towards my family and for always being there for us. Thank you Cyndi Leamon for being such a good role model and mentor to me.
Thank you Jacki Lacher for listening when I needed to pour out my heart. Thank you Gerry Ingle for loving us like your own. Njuamboh says you are the white grandma :-). Last but not the least, thank you to you reading this letter. My prayer for you is that God should shine his light on your every path. May you come to know God personally through your constant communication with him.
