What makes the rainbow beautiful?

This is to all believers. Have you ever wondered who your neighbor will be in heaven? Or who will be standing next to you at worship service in heaven?

How will this world look like if there was just one race? Boring! Look at it this way; I love flowers so I will use flowers for an example to start with.

What about all flowers had just one color, black? What about all we ever ate was rice? What about all houses were built the same and painted the same color? What about all cars on the road were Toyota and painted white? I could go on and on.

God is a beautiful God. He loves variety. We can see His taste in all of creation. From plants to animal, fish in the oceans; everything He created comes in different shapes, colors.

There is beauty in variety. What if, we enjoy our differences. One thing we all have in common despite our skin color is, if you cut us open, red blood flows from our veins. The sacrificial blood of Jesus is what unites us. Secondly, all our organs are the same and interchangeable.

For those in hospitals seeking to receive organs, they don't ask the color of the person the organ came from. This should teach us something about our oneness despite the color of our skin.

What makes the rainbow beautiful? The seven different colors it's made of. Take one color out and it's no longer a rainbow everyone loves. Does this say something about the beauty in colors? I think so. We are all created uniquely in the image of God and His likeness.

What about light? In order for us to see a full spectrum of light, it takes different  wavelength of colors. Does this say something about how we need each other? God loves variations. His light in us should shine in this dark world.

We all have been discriminated upon one way or the other. Car dealers have refused to sell us cars because we are black. Christians in church have refused to sell us insurance because we are Africans, our neighbors have refused their kids from playing with my girls because they are black, I could go on and on with the list.

This is an attack from an already defeated enemy to bring about separation. This is not a white or black issue; it is evil against good.

Our identity in Christ should unite us as the body with Christ as head of all not just a selected few.

“An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes.”
Psalms 36:1 NKJV

We can't try to change what God created perfect for the proper functioning of the human race. I will end with this, take all races of people and put in a room without oxygen; none will survive.

“Then Peter(Etonde) opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. The word which God sent to the children of Israel(America), preaching peace through Jesus Christ— He is Lord of all—”
Acts 10:34-36 NKJV

A nation divided will fall. Unity conquers and subdues. It takes sunlight and rain droplets for us to see a rainbow. These two must unite for us to enjoy the beauty and peace of a rainbow.
