The evil that occurs when a man dies in Africa (one year after my dad'sfuneral)


This relates to many African families when their father dies. It's worst in most cases when the children are younger. Not many are fortunate to have family members to help them. Victory in Christ Jesus conquers this evil culture when mourning families turn to The Lord as is our case. It is the truth you know that will set you free. 


It's been a year without you daddy. It's like a dream yet, it is realty. I miss your presence here each passing day. All the laughs and straight talks with you resonate in my mind.

You were the best daddy a girl could ever ask for, my greatest cheerleader and fan. The best grandpa to my girls and the best Father-in-law to my husband. You protected me from predators always and provided the very best for me. 

This year without you has taught me a lot. Thank you for teaching me the importance of abiding in The Vine. This is what has given me peace and victory for He also abides in me. There was only one you in the family.

  Everyone that came close to you miss you dearly. We are holding on all the straight talks you equipped us with (calling a spade a spade). We will not be tossed around like children from the deceits of your brother because we know the truth.

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.”

Your physical absence has opened our eyes to the evil that surrounds us all. You were hated by all who do not stand for the truth. You feared The Lord and hated evil. You never compromised the truth and loved peace in the family.

We now know who your brothers are in character. They have shown us the evil of the African culture that happens when a man dies. They are doing the direct opposite of what you would do if they left earth before you. They are trying to claim us as theirs with evil intentions. They show no respect for your wife. What they have failed to understand is that, we are heirs of God's Kingdom with the Holy Ghost living inside of us. 

All they care about is your possession and forget the truth that your widow exist. Besides, you have grown sons and daughters who will not let your brothers get away with evil. We are your descendants and God will not forsake us. We shall live to see the goodness of The Lord in the land of the living.

“I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed. Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore. For the LORD loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever. The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, And his tongue talks of justice.”
Psalms 37:25-30 NKJV


We are standing as one United family to show your brothers that though you are absent physically, your spirit lives in us because of what you instilled in us. I pray others learn from us the power in unity. Anyone of your children not standing with your widow is against your will. 

Christ has given us victory in all circumstances to the Glory of the Father. We don't need them to be our fathers because we have a Heavenly Father always present with us in the person of The Holy Spirit. We will trample over the attacks of the enemy because Christ has given us authority in The Word of God as our weapon. 

No weapon formed against us shall prosper and any tongue that rises against us in judgement, we shall condemn. For, this is the heritage to all who believe and our righteousness is from The Lord.

Just because we are meek does not mean we are weak. We shall inherit the land. There is power in the Holy Ghost and our Faith in The Son of God is our victory.

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
I John 5:4 NKJV


You were the rock that held us all together because you had the Rock of ages living inside of you.

You were father to the fatherless in the family and to strangers. You modeled God's kind of love to us.

I have peace because of the joy of eternal life with Jesus. Daddy, I know you are enjoying your new eternal address because you believed in The Son of God as the only way to The Holy Father God.

Thank you Heavenly Father for the time I had with my daddy and all the memories with him.

I will keep in perfect peace because my mind is steadfast on You, oh Lord! and because I trust in You.

(All my sisters and my mother at our dad's funeral. His casket was infront of us). The peace from God is what keeps me smiling always. When we smile, the devil flees, I got joy in the Holy Ghost inside of me.

A Mother's Bond

The connection we have with our children  is very powerful. The bond can not be broken. It is a love like no other. A love that speaks from the heart with a very powerful intuition. God made us carry them in our bodies for almost 10 months. This pregnancy process is a bonding mystery. Feeling the baby move and it can actually respond when you talk to them. I remember my babies giving me kicks of assurance when I asked if they are ok in there. What a magical feeling it is. The bonding continuous as we hear the first cry that pierces our hearts, nursing them, waking up at night and going through days with very limited sleep. Stirring at them to see if we'll see a body part actuall grow instantly. All the smiles and crying only builds up a stronger bond etc. We get soo attached to them that even leaving them home with our husbands is scary.
