Sudden Death!

I don't know about you but, growing up death brought about a lot of darkness. The fear of the unknown mystery of life was scary. Death is painful to many people.

Losing someone suddenly is sad. Lots of emotions and memories to deal with. Losing a young person make things even more frustrating to many.

Why did this happen? Does God really exist/care? If there is a God why should he do such a thing? What is life all about?

You might have asked yourself these questions or, are dealing with them right now.

The truth is, there is no death in Christ Jesus.

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 NIV)

Why did your love one have to die so young?

First, know that God loves them more than you do and wanted them to enjoy abundant life here on earth.

Circumstances not caused by an all good and always good God brought about this.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 NKJV)

There is a thief of life called the enemy that causes sudden death. The good news in this sadness is, if they slept in The Lord then, they are alive.

So get this point clear, God does not cause sudden death or end life prematurely. Why should a loving father want to hurt what he created. He had a plan and purpose for every life the devil cut short.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV)

God is always and shall forever be all loving. Listen to his voice(the Holy Spirit).

Does God really exist/care?

Everyone at some point have asked this question. There is no time to go into this. Look around you at all of creation, you will see a God of beauty and high standards. He showed us love in the person of Jesus Christ.

Two thousand years ago, the God of creation demonstrated how caring he is on the cross. His only son Christ Jesus brought us salvation. A free gift available to all through faith in Jesus.

God gave us grace because he cares.

The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. (Psalm 145:8-9 NIV)

All you need to get an answer is open your mouth and ask him to reveal himself to you. Acknowledge him and the works of his mighty hand and let him speak directly to your heart.

God speaks constantly, every second of the day. Be still and listen. He loves and cares about every living soul he created.

Yes, he exist/cares and did not bring about death to teach you a lesson. The thief of life killed your loved one not God.

The next two questions have already been answered.

God does not cause premature death. Before he creates any soul, there is a designated plan and purpose for them.

The question you should be asking yourself in the mist of sudden death is,

Am I walking in God's divine plan and purpose?

If not, seek his face and do his will. Life will be more fulfilling and enjoyable. There is abundant life in Christ Jesus.

Know God's promises about life and speak them on your life. There is power in spoken words. All his promises for us are true. "For no word from God will ever fail.” (Luke 1:37 NIV)

With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” (Psalm 91:16 NIV)

Do not mourn like unbelievers without a hope of a promised future glory.

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. (Philippians 3:20-21 NKJV)

Now that I know whose I am, there is no darkness or fear of death. There is light and life in death. Light has overpowered the darkness.

Have you seen the light in death's darkness? There is no darkness in Christ Jesus.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6 NKJV)

Jesus is the light of the world, Jesus is the light in your darkness. Jesus is everlasting.

(May the joy of The Lord bring you peace as you remember the fallen. There is eternal life in Christ Jesus).
