Our Struggle

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12 NIV)

I have come across people that are believers but are unwilling to get into the word. Also, I've had people asked me that you must be getting attacks from the devil. The reason is clear, people don't want to get into the word because trials will come their way.

When ever you are on fire for The Lord our enemy is angry. Attacks will come from all angles trying to stop you. You will feel descouraged and want to give up.

Spiritaul attacks is our struggle here on earth as followers of Christ. It is a spiritual battle which is the reason some may think you are hallucinating, when you tell them what you are going through. 

Even in the days of Jesus people said he was out of his mind. " When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.” (Mark 3:21 NIV)." So you are not the first, your savior knows your struggle.

And yes, I'm being attacked by the devil because I'm on fire for my Savior. This just means I'm doing the right thing and will not stop. My God is bigger than the attacks. Knowing that I'm an overcomer already keeps me going.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NIV)

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39 NIV)

I hold scripture at heart reminding me of God's promises. I hold to them because they are absolute truth and it gives me the peace I need.

 Scripture is our weapon against our enemy the devil. Praying scripture is speaking God's truth to the enemy. Resist and rebuke him, and he will flee from you.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7 NIV)

Are you holding on to scripture to keep you going or have you given up?

The devil is out to stop all what is good. Do not be discouraged, other believers are going through the same thing.


The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10 NIV)

How I met Prince Charming!

Everyone has a story of how they met their Prince Charming. Yours maybe be more exciting than others. Or maybe, more awkward than others. Well, let me give you a chance to make the judgment in my situation. January 2007 was when it all started in South Bend Indiana. A Mother's Bond

The connection we have with our children  is very powerful. The bond can not be broken. It is a love like no other. A love that speaks from the heart with a very powerful intuition. God made us carry them in our bodies for almost 10 months. This pregnancy process is a bonding mystery. Feeling the baby move and it can actually respond when you talk to them. I remember my babies giving me kicks of assurance when I asked if they are ok in there. What a magical feeling it is. The bonding continuous as we hear the first cry that pierces our hearts, nursing them, waking up at night and going through days with very limited sleep. Stirring at them to see if we'll see a body part actuall grow instantly. All the smiles and crying only builds up a stronger bond etc. We get soo attached to them that even leaving them home with our husbands is scary.
