Our speech says a lot about us!


He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.” (Mark 7:20-23 NIV)

Our thoughts when left to dwell in evil thinking leads us to sin. Don't stain yourself with all these evil thoughts. Pray and ask God to change your thinking.

It may cost you to cut off some friends that cause you to sin. Yes friends can harm you. If you are married to one that is negative, then pray for God to change his heart.

Also, be an example by thinking before you speak. Think of every word that comes from your mouth and the impact it has on others.

Get in the word and know what it says.

Instead, think of these;

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. (Philippians 4:8 NIV)
