Are you beautiful enough?
Yes you are beautiful and you need to accept it!
Have you found yourselves hating what you see on the mirror?
Maybe you have never had anyone look at you in the eyes and utter these words " you are beautiful because God created you."
Everything God created is very beautiful. If you are a born again Christain and have God living inside of you, it means your Spirit is beautiful and perfect just like God. This part of you can not be seen, but it is the renewed you.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV)
Do not let anyone tell you otherwise! Know the truth about true beauty.
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. (1 Peter 3:3, 4 NIV)
Accept your inner spirit of godliness always remembering you were created in his image and likeness. Let your beauty come from within and it will reflect outwardly.
This does not mean you should not take care of your God given body. Be healthy and honor the body you are blessed with. It is God's temple and should be treated with love and respect. A healthy body prevents attacks from the enemy(diseases/sickness).
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; (1 Corinthians 6:19 NIV)
With this in mind remember that your focus should not be on how you look outwardly as the current culture says.
Let your beautiful words and actions tell others about God's spirit living inside of you.
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” (Genesis 1:26 NIV).
We need a healthy body to accomplish the task God has planed for us.
Love the stage of beauty you are in as it fleets away gradually but beautifully.
Be your you beauty not someone else.
Do not let the world determine your beauty.
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. (Proverbs 31:30 NIV)

Bang mishap this is me right there at first i thought beauty was base on looks thanks to God for his word which has set me free.
ReplyDeleteSoo many people get consumed with the superficial. Although we are to take good care of our bodies, God looks at the heart.
