Unconditional love on the Cross
Unconditional love shown on the cross. There is no forgiveness without the blood of Christ on the cross.
Death was conquered on the cross. There is life on the cross since Christ became sin and took our punishment. Sin is the gap between heaven and earth. The only bridge/access to heaven is the cross.
Love on the cross was/is mercy to all. We were spared what we deserved, death.
Christ paid the price for our sins so we can live.
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. (Isaiah 53:4 NIV)
Unconditional love like no other.
This love on the cross is a free gift to all who are willing to receive it.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 NIV)
The first step to the cross is Faith. Believing in the unknown mystery of the God of creation.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— (Ephesians 2:8 NIV)
There are struggles in life on earth after the cross. But there is peace and joy found in our struggles. Our struggles grow our faith because we see God at work through us by his spirit in us.
There is no struggle new to Christ. We struggle because we have not made him Lord over our life. Making him a savior only is not enough. It will take you to heaven, yes. Making him lord is letting him guide our every step and decision. His leading will be struggle less because God is all good and does not bring about our struggles.
When we take our struggles brought about by the enemy, he loving turns them to our good and for his glory.
Grace gives us strength and hope to carry on. We get what we don't deserve.
After the cross we are to be a reflection of Christ on earth;
Loving the poor, orphans, helping the widows and be meek at heart,
Working for peace and justice for the oppressed,
Comforting those who mourn and rejoicing in persecution for our faith. Yet enduring in all these because we shall inherit the earth.
Because of the cross we are an illuminating light in this dark world. The light that has overcomes the darkness because darkness has never seen such light.
This light is the salvation that came on the cross.
This light in us is our Comforter and helper on earth. It is Christ walking on earth in us.
It is the moving temple on earth dwelling in us, so others may be drawn to it and not perish.
God is Spirit (John 4:24) "The Holy Spirit". Part of the trinity which hovers the earth and was at the very beginning.
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24 NIV)
This Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf to Christ our mediator to God. We have this Spirit because of love on the cross.
Life without this love is death. Because of the love of the God of creation, we know what true love is.
A sacrificial love that only he could offer. He gave his only son, the sacrificial lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
This love on the cross established God's kingdom on earth. Where the creator God is King. Where his will on earth is done as it is in heaven we pray.
Where God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is at work. "Is" because they are one.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16-17 NIV)
Love on the cross equals God is Love!
